Data processing

What we process, why, and what we never do with it.

Infrastructure data (RVTools exports)

• Processed to produce your migration assessment — that is the only purpose.
• Free analysis: in-memory only, discarded after the response.
• Engagements: raw file archived to private storage; parsed inventory stored in our database. Both deletable on request.
• Never used for advertising, never sold, never sent to AI/analytics services.

Contact data (lead form)

• Name, email, and what you tell us about your project — stored so we can respond, and emailed to our own inbox via our email provider.

Outcome data

We record engagement-level migration outcomes (predicted vs. actual effort, success rates, issue categories) to make future assessments more accurate. Outcome records are about the engagement, not your inventory — they do not contain your hostnames, VM names, or network details. We do not publish statistics until enough real data exists to make them honest.
